EDUonGo Partners With First Mobile Education

Companies use the cloud to deliver mobile education to domestic and emerging markets.

EDUonGo, Inc., a cloud-based platform that hosts online academies, has partnered with First Mobile Education Inc., a newly launched Canadian company that dispatches eLearning solutions to customers worldwide by means of mobile technology.

With the help of EDUonGo, First Mobile Education plans to rapidly create a network of online academies that will cater to Canada and other Atlantic regions as well as emerging markets such as China, India and Brazil. EDUonGo will serve as their learning management system and will assist in optimizing their educational content and gaming for the mobile learning arena.

In an effort to fuel innovation in Canada’s technology industry, First Mobile Education will receive part of GTECH Canada UCL’s $5 million funding from the provincial government of New Brunswick, Canada (read more here). Stairs, who is also co-chair of the Canadian eLearning Enterprise Alliance (CeLEA), and whose companies, Stellar Learning Strategies and Red Hot Learning that serve more than 500,000 learners, plans to represent Canadian curriculum to K-12 schools, universities, colleges and the private sector through the mobile platform.
