How do I create a group?

The group feature is helpful when students need to collaboratively work on projects. Groups are private, so that means it is only accessible to students you have added to the group (as well as the teacher).

Create a group

  1. Enter course.
  2. Click “Group” on the left-hand menu bar (if it doesn’t appear in the menu, click the + icon and selecting “Modules.” The select the “Groups” module and click “Save.”)
  3. Click “Create New Group.”
  4. Add content.
  5. Save content and click “Done.”

Add students to a group

  1. Add students to the group by clicking “Manage Students.”
  2. Click “+ Add Students.”
  3. Select students from course to assign to the group.
  4. Click “+ Add Students.”
